Tiny Home, Smart Furniture

You may have noticed a trend that is quickly becoming a reality for many Americans.  I'm talking about tiny houses.  These beautiful, little homes have the power to draw the viewer in, leaving them hoping to get a peek inside.

Don't be fooled by their size.  These tiny houses are all, but uninteresting.  Once you have gotten a peek at the interior, you will likely notice something these modest home owners usually do not give up: great style and "intelligent" furniture.  It seems as though minimalists know how important it is to bring in the most innovative, high functioning built-ins to do several jobs in one.  Stairs can also serve as storage drawers.  Beds are usually in the loft, built-in or Murphy style.  Sofas are often times built-in benches with storage below.

There is a reason we are all so intrigued by these little houses.  Not only are they less expensive than the typical, American home, but they also seem to bring out the kid in all of us.  Who doesn't want to live in an over-sized play house with a real kitchen and a loft bed?
